BATTERY REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Unscrew the four screws one by one, beginning with the ones at the top.
Set the four screws aside.
If after removing the screws the unit cannot be easily separated, try the following:
Put a fingernail between the ridge detaching the top and bottom parts of the unit, and run your fingernail through the ridge until the unit has been fully separated.
Remove the batteries. If the batteries are not easily removable, take the mini-screwdriver and place the tip of it in the small space between the two batteries to gently pry them out. Beware that the batteries may suddenly pop out once they are freed from their housing.
Dispose of the dead batteries according to local regulations.
Insert two new CR2032 batteries, making sure to match the positive and negative ends as is displayed in the housing.
Put the two parts back together. When you hear a clicking sound, the unit is properly put back together and is ready for the next step.
Put the first screw back in place.
To prevent the screw from wiggling, you will want to screw it partially with your finger. Once the screw will stand up straight on its own, use the mini-screwdriver to screw it in the rest of the way.
Follow these steps for the remaining three screws. Be careful not to screw in the screws too tightly as this will cause unnecessary stress on the unit and make it difficult to replace the batteries in the future.
